About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting and preferably in a food environment. This role is vital to ensuring the continuous operation and safety of our production facilities. Candidates should possess excellent analysis skills, be detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and safety. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including HVAC, ribbon blenders, packaging line, label printers and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and technical manuals
  • Conduct basic plumbing, low voltage electrical work, and other mechanical repairs as needed
  • Assist with installation, calibration, and upgrades of machinery and control systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance
  • Conduct analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Assist in purchase, installation and debugging of new equipment
  • Record maintenance data to monitor equipment performance
  • Building maintenance (e.g. drywall, painting, changing lightbulbs, etc.)
  • When necessary, source outside contractors to complete maintenance and/or repair work. Estimate costs for work orders when required;
  • Provide project outline (with budget if applicable) for projects with more than a 1 week timeline.
  • Source parts manufacturers/providers, order as required with follow through to purchase orders;
  • Maintain records and inventory as required
  • Adhere to all food safety and health & safety processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshooting Abilities: Ability to methodically diagnose and repair issues under pressure.
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Experience: Preferred 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Physical Fitness: Capability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in varied environments.
  • Proven experience in industrial electrician work, mechanical maintenance, or related fields within manufacturing environments, preferably in a food environment
  • Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems for maintenance scheduling and record keeping
  • Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and low voltage electrical systems
  • Skills in HVAC, forklift, compressors, dust collection, welding, and general mechanical repair are highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and diagnose issues effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English for documentation and teamwork purposes
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing is preferred
  • This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our operational excellence through technical expertise and dedicated service.

Pay and Schedule:

  • Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 Yearly Plus Bonus & Tips
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Shift: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Compensation
