Requirements:
- 1 years commercial kitchen experience
- 1-2 year of bread baking or dough experience
- Culinary/ baking education is preferred
- Strong constitution, able to lift 50 lbs
- No existing injuries
- Willing to work with intensity
- Ability to multitask and operate in fast pace when needed
- Can work independently or in a team
- Can arrive independently on time!!!!
Duties & Responsibilities may include:
At Dear Grain we share all responsibilities from dough making, shaping to packing and cleaning. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Cutting, shaping and proofing of dough
- Baking breads in our deck oven
- Mixing dough up to per 160kg batch
- Slicing and packing breads and buns
- Prep work
- Cleaning and restocking inventory
Schedule availability:
- PT 3-4 days week Approx 25-32 hr week to start with FT possibility
- Shift length Approx 6-8hr
- Weekdays/ at least one weekend day
- Ideal days: Thursday - Sunday
- General Availability 6am - 2pm
- $18.00 - $21.00 per hour - depending on experience ( Plus Tips)

Compensation
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
