Position Summary
The Dishwasher plays an important role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the café’s kitchen and service areas. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with kitchen prep duties as required.
- Remove garbage, recycling, and compost following proper procedures.
- Support café staff by ensuring clean dishes and tools are always available.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Pay and Schedule
- Shift Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
- Monday to Friday
- Wage is $17.60 to 18.00 including tips
